    Conservative Party leader David Cameron has warned that extensive corporate lobbying in Parliament is 'the next big scandal waiting to happen'.

    Very interesting timing. "Secret lobbying" disappeared long ago for APPC and PRCA members under their Codes promoting openness. The CIPR has similar standards. Let's work together to bring in those currently still opposed to openness.

    Let's be clear here. He also said: "It's important that businesses, charities and other organisations feel they can make sure their voice is heard. And indeed, lobbying often makes for better, more workable, legislation." This is about making lobbying more transparent -as it is with PRCA and APPC members- rather than some disproportionate plan for government regulation.
