Royal Mail: living the brand online

Speaking to colleagues who have used Twitter as a customer service mechanism to contact the Royal Mail, the account handlers could learn a lot from their peers at Carphone Warehouse or Vodafone who are much more responsive. However, the wag also added that it was at least consistent with the offline brand values and tardy service performance, perhaps that's why Amazon maybe going elsewhere for deliveries?
